TODAY IS OUR 90th POST!!! Thank you for coming on our journey with us!
So last night I realized I forgot to plan a side dish. I got lost in writing/researching a book and barely came out to breathe let alone think of food! So, while my hubs grilled the little round steaks we found in the Commissary sale section I was left to worry about the side.
So last night I realized I forgot to plan a side dish. I got lost in writing/researching a book and barely came out to breathe let alone think of food! So, while my hubs grilled the little round steaks we found in the Commissary sale section I was left to worry about the side.
So today's recipe was a fluke and turned out amazing!
Noodle Stir-fry
1/2-1 box or bag of Noodles (I used what was left in the cupboard)
1 TBSP olive oil
2-3 Peppers, sliced
Garlic, 3 cloves chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
3-4 tsp Maggi seasoning (I also put 1 TBSP in the noodle water)
1 TBSP olive oil
2-3 Peppers, sliced
Garlic, 3 cloves chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
3-4 tsp Maggi seasoning (I also put 1 TBSP in the noodle water)
Stir-fry your veggies in the olive oil, adding the Maggi toward the end and boil your noodles. I added about 1/2 cup water to the stir-fry as well as the Maggi to get the good bits off the pan. After the noodles are cooked drain and add to the veggies. Taste. I added some more Maggi. If you don't have Maggi you can use Soy Sauce!
As you can see by the pictures the Residents loved it! I ate just this and skipped the steaks!
