Bacon Chestnuts
2 Cans whole water chestnuts
1 pound bacon
1/2 Cup brown sugar
1/4 Cup mayonnaise
1/4 Cup chili sauce
Cut bacon slices into thirds. Wrap piece of bacon around each chestnut. Secure with toothpicks. Place on baking sheet and bake at 425° for 45 minutes. While they are baking mix brown sugar, mayonnaise and chili sauce in a small pan. Heat until boiling.
Remove the bacon wrapped chestnuts from grease and place in a 1.5 quart baking dish. Pour sauce over chestnuts. Bake 325° for 15 minutes.
